A guy goes to a town with a dice, asks 6 people where is the best place to go to ?______?, each suggestion is numbered 1 to 6, you roll the dice and go there, once there you do it again, and again, and again. Pure spontaniousness (kind of Confused )

Hi I have a suggestion, can the member board photos that we have submitted be a permanent thread in bold please (at the top along with the others), so they dont end up getting deleted (eventually) along with the other messages. That way us MBA's and new members will always have access to them. Thanks!! Big Grin

The advanced poker night seems to have only two people booked on it at the moment with just over two weeks to go. I have considered going but it seems a bit pricey for me.

Would it be more popular if the event cost say twenty pounds rather than the current sixty nine? You don't really need the hot pot supper although it would be a long night for some of us just eating crisps etc.

Personally I don't think that many spicers are willing to put up that much money, regardless of how much (up to £1000?) they could win.

Obviously spice has to make a profit out of the event, do you think more people would book it if it were cheaper?

Any chance of Take That tickets for MEN Arena in December (10th-19th) please?
They go on sale at 9am tomorrow morning.

There are people camping outside of the MEN Arena queuing for tickets already!!!!!

Unfortuantely they always have a 4 or 6 ticket maximum sale for these concerts so if we can get any - which is doubtful - it would only be a few. I think you may need to get your sleeping bag out if you want to go Smile

Not for things they know are going to sell out. It's to make it harder for touts to get hold of tickets - apparently! We've had discussions with MEN arena before about this.

Martin, I assume that the event had to be cancelled. Any comments on my previous post about maybe charging less for the event? I'd be willing to pay up to thirty pounds...

I went to Mimi in Sale on saturday and the food was gorgeous and lots of it too!! How about arranging a night out there or Jitrada or Masala Lounge or TGI, all in Sale.
When the ice rink in Altrincham opens are we having a night out there too? Big Grin

Does anyone know details of when it's due to open and where it is as Google is giving me nothing.

Can't wait to get it back on the list of events - it used to be a good night out...

The 'this year' in that newsletter was 2005! The joys of the internet.

According to www.altrinchamicedome.co.uk its next week.

The ice hockey team website www.manchesterphoenix.co.uk/news/ says there was a game played there last Sunday but the number of spectators was restricted as its not quite finished yet.

(Oh good, 100 posts in 6.5 years makes me a MBA).

Cool, I love ice skating, as long as it isn't that slippery kind of ice Wink

We did this in Serbia and it was a brilliant (apart from the abundance of Crazy frog music)

It was a great chance for the beginner skiers to get their own back at the experienced coordinator skiier who happened to be atrocious at skating!!

can we consider somewhere different for the pre SHT meal?

Buffet City may be convenient - but it's so crammed. we have to get tthere so early and we've done it quite a lot so a change might be nice.
