10/10. Only a small thing but it made my day. I managed to persuade a little girl today into going up in assembly to receive an award she'd won for her hard work this term. She has NEVER ever done this before and cries if her name is even mentioned during assembly, so for her to stand up in front of everyone made her mum and I very proud. She had a huge smile for the rest of the day and so did I. Smile

I don't think that's a small thing at all LL - it was clearly a major milestone in that little girl's personal development and quite possibly something she'll remember for a very long time. Smile

So well done you for encouraging her and for caring enough to smile all day about it Smile Smile Smile

LL - yes that was a "huge" thing for that little girl to do - bet she remembers what she did for a long time.

I used to be painfully shy - wouldn't talk to anyone ... until I joined spice

I'll remember it for a long time that's for sure, especially as it's my last day at that school tomorrow. Frown

As the "moody bues said isn't life strange ", talk about a topsy turvy ride. Frown On Tuesday evening I was rushed into Wigan Hospital after collapsing in agony at home and a neighbour coming to my rescue. Wink Having been dosed with Morphine and all sorts of drugs and needles and cameras stuck where a Spicer wouldn't go starved for 3 days they let me home tonight. Big Grin
Sue visited twice and has just gone home now so thanks Sue it was really good of her to travel all that way. Will more than likely be off work a week to recover and have more tests but rate a 9 / 10 i think . Big Grin

Flippin 'eck Tom sounds like you've had an awful time - take it easy young man and get better soon!

The heads up is this. Firstly, refer to the Who's That Girl thread. White Knight saw this foxy chick on table 2 at the Ball, didn't quite get round in time to impress her with his display of his peacock feathers so now he's regretting it and asking us lot to find out who she might be. We've no idea but half of her face appears on a photo (see earlier in the thread) which LMS thinks (and I have to agree with her) looks slightly rude. We then had a slight diversion into the world of spice's own babeworld (see appropriate pics of Dru and Miss Whiplash), Avilon is going to bring his porn collection to the next Didsbury Meet and WK is going to try and learn from this episode. That's it really. Obviously the fact that no-one knows who she is, whether or not she's seeing someone etc, is totally irrelevant at this stage. So if you know who she is please let WK know and let him have first go. Take care Tom!

10/10:-
I pick up new toy sports car today.
The client sent my boss a glowing letter of recommendation on an issue the directors are VERY interested in.
My ex has just split up with the guy she left me for and is also incredibly jealous of my new car.
The arrangements to spend New Year on a desert island in Indonesia have been finalised.

Life's pretty damn good.
