Started off iffy - went to work with no packed lunch (couldn't get going this morning as had no energy) and a headache. Went down just before lunch when a child in my class threw up - just what you want when you are feeling frail yourself - and I had to clear that up. Further down when another had brought a flask of cream of tomato soup for lunch - I loathe the stuff and even the smell turns my stomach unless I am feeling 100% when I can bear it reasonably well. However, a sunny afternoon and the fact that it's Friday have brought it up to perhaps a 7. Headache still lurking but can rest tomorrow

I've escaped, i've escaped from work - the weekend starts here!!

8/10 I went to a 'proper' greengrocers near home, and bought plenty of fruit and veg. It seemed better than the usual supermarket stuff that I normally buy.. This was probably prompted by watching, 'the truth about food' on TV last night.
The lurgy is still lingering, and is getting on my nerves. I'm going out for a decent walk 2moro morning, on the Longendale Trail to get some fresh air |

8/10 Sunny days always seem better than gloomy ones..! I caught the tail end of the fire eating last night, and took a couple of photos. It was very impressive. It's quarter past four already! Why do weekends go so fast?

I'd say about 8/10 for me.
Been on a walk with a friend today - just got back. What a perfect day for a walk it was too. Will have a lovely bath with nice Sanctuary smellies in it later. Then I'll start on the ironing  When I'm good I'm very, very good and when I'm bad I'm even better! |

9/10 went on the Werneth Low Stroll. Lovely sunny day, nice scenery and last but not least, excellent company.

Yesterday deteriorated to about a 4, as Sainsbury's proved to be an effort too far and I was not at all well again when I got home, but had recovered enough by evening to recline pallidly on the settee watching "Notting Hill" on Ch 4, thus going up to a 7.

It was similar experience while I was doing teaching practice which helped put me off a career in teaching. I had a next-to-bottom stream of third years (in old money) for a double period of chemistry first thing on Wednesday mornings. They were an awkward bunch and had a tendency to act up, and after the first couple of weeks I found I was waking up with a migrane every Wednesday... _______________________________________ There may be trouble ahead but while there's moonlight and music and love and romance, let's face the music and dance! |

Had a fabulous day, with a disco dancing great guy!! Nice relaxing morning, a lovely walk in the sunshine, followed by a delicious Pub Sunday Roast!! Lurverleee!!! |
